I have struggled with my creative abilities, as I have often felt that my creations serve no real purpose other than be a “pretty.” With all that has happened to me in the past year, I am beginning to realize that I can create simply because I am a creator. I was made in the image of the creator of the universe, so why not use the gift He has given me and create for creations sake.
I used to strive for perfection in my work, often tossing aside what I felt was an imperfect piece. Now I find I am even using stone I once considered, imperfect, and making them beautiful.
Well, back to working on my store and painting more rocks.
